Cox Hall
The Mays MBA Program resides in the Cox Hall, which adjoins Mays Business School’s home in the Wehner Building. Through technologically advanced classrooms, Cox Hall provides MBA students a dynamic environment for learning.
The hall also fosters teamwork through the design of its high-tech MBA team-learning rooms. These eight rooms include 3M Wall Displays, which incorporate an LED projector, a whiteboard and a computer. Students also have 24-hour access to the master’s computer lab, a graduate student lounge and wireless access throughout the building.
Students stay connected with the marketplace through Reliant Energy Trading Center.Reliant Energy Trading Center
Housed in Cox Hall, the Reliant Energy Securities & Commodities Trading Center enables students to witness firsthand the financial transactions that are shaping today’s marketplace. The educational experience gained in the Reliant Center gives Mays students the skills needed to increase their potential career contributions in securities and energy trading, investment banking, risk management and risk control, and portfolio management. While the center is open and available to all Mays students, those taking elective courses in finance primarily make use of the facility.
West Campus Library
Both faculty and students utilize the West Campus Library for business research.
The West Campus Library, located adjacent to the Wehner Building, provides an exceptional environment dedicated exclusively to business research. Within the library, the R.C. Barclay Reference and Retailing Resources Center offers an abundance of electronic resources, including over 50 business-specific online databases, such as ABI/INFORM, LEXIS/NEXIS and datastream. It is also home of the West Campus Computing Network lab.
Texas A&M University
The Memorial Student Center is a central meeting place for Texas A&M students.
Texas A&M University is a world leader in teaching, research and public service. It is the nation’s fifth largest university, with an enrollment of more than 45,000 students. Texas A&M also ranks in the top 15 nationwide in research and development spending. These funded research projects provide a source of support for many Texas A&M graduate students, including MBA students employed as graduate assistants. The university offers a full range of high-quality support services for students.
Bryan / College Station
Bryan/College Station offers a variety of community, cultural and sporting events.
The Bryan/College Station area is in close proximity to Houston, Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio. Access to these major corporate communities is convenient, with drive times less than two hours to Houston and Austin, 2.5 hours to San Antonio and 3.5 hours to Dallas/Fort Worth. The area is also served by several major airlines.
